Miguel A. Urbina Co-Founder Renovación Conyugal, Inc.
He was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Mr. Urbina studied Business Administration, majoring in Management at the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Campus. He moved to Georgia in 1999. He is married to Belisa M. Urbina and is the proud father of 5 kids. In 2001 he founded Renovación Conyugal, Inc. in Georgia along with his wife Belisa and Father Hernán Quevedo. His energy, hard work and love for this Project have fueled it and allow it to grow and expand through the state, benefiting more than 1,500 Latino families every year. He has worked since Renovacion Conyugal’s foundation as a volunteer, supervising the different programs, dedicating his efforts particularly to the couples’ program.
Belisa M. Urbina Executive Director
She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ms. Urbina studied Business Administration majoring in Marketing at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. She moved to Georgia in 1999. She has worked as Renovación Conyugal’s director, since its foundation in 2001. Ms. Urbina is the proud mother of 5 children. In her own words: “Renovación Conyugal transformed our family’s life, giving us the tools to enjoy our relationship. My wish is to put to work my knowledge, experience and energy in this project so that other families can also benefit from these fantastic tools.”
Rosa D. Gómez Administrative Assistant
Rosa was born in Perú but has been living in Georgia for more than 30 years. She is married to Juan Manuel Gómez and they have three children: Ana María, Susana y David. Rosa and Juan Manuel participated from the first couples’ workshop that Renovación Conyugal had in Georgia in March 31, 2001. Since that date they became volunteers of this Project. On 2007 Rosa started working as administrative assistant for Renovación Conyugal. She works from our office putting in the work she does her all her energy and enthusiasm.
